Antlers

An older artist once told me that when you have your heart broken, that's when you create the "best art." I don't completely agree with that statement. But I do believe that emotions, (whether it be happiness or heartache), can have a strong impact in art.

For quite sometime I needed to get some feelings out and art can be great therapy . I wouldn't say that my heart is "broken," but it has been hurt. But after I finished this piece, I felt better. Now it is time to move on. Memories will always linger, but the pain doesn't have to.
